Heres a track from a new music project i've been working on in the late hours of my ritual Sonic Slumber Parties, I've been calling it MINDCONTROL THIS IS ONE OF THOSE SITUATIONS WHERE YOUVE BEEN WORKING SO CLOSELY WITH SOMETHING YOU CANT EVEN SEE WHERE YOUR AT WITH IT. I'VE BEEN EXPERIMENTING WITH UTILIZING WITH THE UNIQUE CHARACTERISTICS THAT TAPE'S SUI GENERIS HAS TO OFFER. SO THE QUESTION IS AM I BLOWING MY OWN MIND? FLOODING MY OWN DOME? OR IS THIS SHIT JUST PLAIN WAK? I'LL LET YOU BE THE JUDGE. I DONT LIKE CANDY, NEVER DID AS A CHILD SO DONT SUGAR COAT THIS SHIZ GIVE IT TO ME STRAIGHT. STRAIGHT TO THE DOME THAT IS.

ReplyDeleteOpening is tough to get into. The track has several songs in it that are nice—have that old MIDI controller sound and feel and if the sound was a little broader, or closer to full res, I think the track would carry some really strong hypnotic qualities. As is, it still feels a little rough, like its waiting for someone to give it a little mastering love.
ReplyDeleteShit's wak, but the kinda wak I wanna juice into a bottle and gulp up. The recursive intro perked my ears up right quick, and I really dug it slowly developing into a rhythm. & Family might have some points to take into consideration - I'm excited to hear where you decide to leave it.
